Transferring coins from OneKey (Hardware Wallet) back to Binance Global (Exchange) is usually done for the purpose of selling coins or exchanging them for other assets on the Exchange. This return transfer process differs from transferring out of an Exchange, as you will need to "Sign" the transaction via your OneKey device to confirm that only you are initiating the transfer.

This guide will walk you through each step in detail to ensure your coin transfer is correct and secure.

Part 1: Preparing the Destination Address (from Binance Global)

First, you need to generate a Deposit Address on Binance Global to enter into the OneKey App.

1.1 Copy the Deposit Address for BTC on Binance Global

  • Open the Binance Global app.
  • Go to the “Assets” menu.
  • Go to the "Deposit" or "Add Funds" menu.
  • Select the deposit method. Here, choose “Deposit Crypto”.
  • Select the coin you want to receive. Here, choose “BTC”.
  • Verify the network, making sure that the displayed network is "Bitcoin" only.
  • A notification will appear regarding deposit support, which supports deposits from all BTC Addresses starting with “1”, “3”, “bc1p”, “bc1q” for all standards. Click “Continue”.
  • Copy Address: Binance Global will display a BTC Deposit Address for deposits (starting with bc1…). Copy this Address. Alternatively, save the image below to save the QR Code for receiving coins.

Part 2: Initiating Transfer from OneKey App

Now we will access the OneKey App to initiate the coin transfer.

2.1 Go to the "Send" page on OneKey App

  • Connect your OneKey device to your mobile, open the OneKey App, and select the Bitcoin account where your coins are located.
  • Tap the "Send" tab on the screen.

2.2 Enter Transfer Details

  • Recipient Address: Paste the BTC Address you copied from Binance Global.
    • Caution: You should check if the first 5 and last 5 characters of the copied address match the address from Binance Global to prevent errors.
  • Amount: Enter the amount of BTC you want to transfer back to Binance Global.
  • Transaction Fee: Select your desired fee (higher fee means faster transfer). The OneKey App will recommend an appropriate fee. Initially, we recommend "Normal".
  • Click "Preview": Click Preview to prepare the transaction.

2.3 Confirm the accuracy of details on OneKey

  • (Very Important) You must ensure that the destination address displayed on the OneKey device screen matches the BTC deposit address in Binance Global 100%. This is because if the address was changed by malware on your computer, you would be able to detect it at this step, as the address on the OneKey device would still be the correct one.

Once your transaction shows “Sent BTC” and “Confirmed”, you have successfully completed the initial steps! Your digital assets have been sent to the Exchange.

You just need to check the status on Binance Global one last time to confirm the transfer and its completion.

Part 3: Verify Success on Binance Global

  • Receive coins on Binance Global: Once the Bitcoin network confirms the transaction according to Binance Global's requirements (usually takes 10-30 minutes, depending on the transaction fee), the BTC coins will appear in your Wallet on the Binance Global app.
