Hello, friends! Today, the admin will share about the Bitcoin Pizza Day 2025 event, which took place on Saturday, May 24th, at Chit Hole Royal River. This event was held to commemorate the first-ever use of Bitcoin in history when Laszlo Hanyecz used 10,000 BTC to buy two pizzas in 2010 (I wonder what that's worth now ðŸ˜ą).

The event started around 3:30 PM. It rained when I arrived, but it stopped quickly, making the weather cool and comfortable. The atmosphere was very friendly. Some people came alone and were able to chat casually with others at the event. It was truly an event for making connections.

Na Nek's Surprise Appearance! 🎉

What made the atmosphere even more fun was Na Nek's surprise appearance as a special guest! Everyone was quite excited and didn't expect him to join; even I didn't. The atmosphere immediately became livelier and friendlier. Unfortunately, I didn't get to attend Na Nek's session, so I don't have the details to share.

Lightning Pizza 210 satsâšĄðŸ•

The highlight of the event was trying to use the Lightning Network to buy pizza for just 210 sats (approximately 7 baht). Many people tried using a Lightning wallet for the first time! The Bitcast team helped with exchanging sats on-site. Anyone without the app could download and install it quickly. The atmosphere was fun and provided real knowledge and experience in using it.

However, this year the pizza ran out very quickly because there were more attendees than last year. The team underestimated the pizza order. Next year, they will definitely prepare more pizza! 😅

Most Impressive Aspect ðŸ’Ŧ

Besides meeting old friends in the Bitcoin & Crypto industry, what impressed me most was seeing more and more people participate each year. Many are seriously studying Bitcoin, asking excellent questions. It shows that we should truly learn, not just seek short-term profits. This indicates that the Bitcoin community in Thailand is growing, and people are becoming more knowledgeable.

Post-Event Thoughts 💭

This event wasn't just a celebration; it was an opportunity to exchange knowledge and get to know the Bitcoin Community in Thailand. I met new friends, learned about new technology, and most importantly, enjoyed delicious pizza (if it didn't run out first 😅).
