Hello, Bitcast friends! The Bitcast team just returned from Block Mountain 2025 in Chiang Mai during the last week of January.
This year's event ran for 4 days (January 23-26). Although the team arrived late on the 23rd and missed the first day, which focused on NFTs and Gaming, we still participated in plenty of other fun activities!

January 24: Digital Asset & Tech Day 🎓
The second day at One Nimman began with a discussion on "Thailand & Global Blockchain&Digital Asset Landscape," followed by an in-depth look at regulations in "Navigating Digital Asset Regulation." The afternoon covered "Programmable Money Sandbox" and "Scaling Blockchain," concluding with a special workshop on Smart Contract V2 and AI.

January 25: Bitcoin Day & Block Runner 🏃♂️
The day started with the Block Runner activity, a run around Chiang Mai's old city moat. The atmosphere was fantastic, with cool weather, and we met many new friends from both the running and crypto communities.

Then, we attended the "Thailand & Global Bitcoin Landscape" presentation by Ajarn King from the Right Shift team, followed by "Understand Bitcoin" by Bitcast's P'Bit.
The day's highlights included community building in Chiang Mai by Jimmy Kestro and discussions on Bitcoin and energy by Piccolo. The presentation on the Lightning Network by Rolan Bewick was also very interesting. The day concluded with a special workshop on Hardware Wallets and a Panel Discussion "Bitcoin After Dark," which talked about the national adoption of Bitcoin.

January 26: Web3 Community Brunch Talk ☕
The last day was a relaxed Web3 Community Talk and Brunch at ChitHole Nimman. There were discussions with people in the industry in a very friendly atmosphere, allowing for the exchange of perspectives and the creation of new connections.

Overview of the Event
This year's Block Mountain elevated to another level, offering knowledge, activities, and new networks. It reaffirmed Chiang Mai's readiness to become a new Blockchain hub in Thailand. The content covered everything from NFT, Gaming, DeFi, to Bitcoin, with leading speakers and hands-on workshops.
Summary of Impressions
Block Mountain 2025 truly exceeded expectations in every aspect, from the knowledge gained and new connections made to the warm and friendly atmosphere. Seeing the Bitcoin Community in Chiang Mai grow stronger continuously reinforces the belief that the North is indeed becoming a new Blockchain hub for Thailand.
For those who missed this year's event, I highly recommend not missing next year's! Block Mountain is not just an ordinary conference; it's a festival that combines everything in one place, including new knowledge, hands-on experience through workshops, fun activities like Block Runner, and opportunities to meet like-minded people in the industry.
Plus, you get to visit Chiang Mai during good weather, learn at One Nimman, enjoy coffee at ChitHole, and build new connections. It's definitely worth the trip.
See you in the next content, and we hope to see you at Block Mountain next year!
