Trezor updated Suite to version 25.1.2, introducing many new features, including support for Solana Token-2022 and adding Base, Optimism, and Arbitrum One networks. They also launched the "Trezor Safe 5 Freedom Edition," a special edition with only 2,100 units produced, priced at $169, same as the regular model, with $10 per unit donated to the Trezor Academy to promote financial education.

Ledger celebrates its 10th anniversary with over 7 million units sold. They introduced the Clear-Signing feature, which helps to interpret Smart Contract data more easily, and partnered with Uniswap to add a Swap feature to Ledger Live. Although there was an incident where the founder was abducted, everything is now safe and sound.

Foundation unveiled Passport Prime, packed with features, including a Bitcoin Wallet, authenticator, and 50GB of encrypted storage. Priced at $299, shipping is expected to begin in Q2/2025.

Keystone has partnered with Cake Wallet to add Monero support this month. Meanwhile, the Keystone 3 Pro remains popular with its air-gapped system, large screen, and support for over 5,000 cryptocurrencies.

SafePal has added support for the Sui Network and $SUI Token in both its Hardware and Mobile App versions. They also launched the Oasis Giftbox campaign from January 16-25. SafePal S1 continues to be popular with support for over 30,000 cryptocurrencies.

Tangem has been granted a patent for its private key backup technology in the US. They are also preparing to support NFTs on EVM, TON, and Solana networks, as well as adding new networks like Alephium, Fact0rn, and Dione.

Although there were no new updates in January, OneKey continues to develop support for the Neo X EVM sidechain that was added in December 2024, allowing users to utilize DeFi platforms like Flamingo Finance and DeXFun.
