Step 1: Preparation

 

Before we begin, we need to prepare the following:

  1. Update your Keystone 3 Pro firmware to version 2.0.2 or newer. 
  2. Download Keystone Nexus on your phone.

 

Step 2: Connect Keystone 3 Pro to the Keystone Nexus application.


Keystone 3 Pro (Hardware wallet)

 

  1. Tap the “…” icon in the top right corner -> connect software wallet -> Keystone Nexus.
  2. A QR code will appear on the screen, ready to be scanned.

  1. Open the Keystone Nexus app -> tap "Start protecting your assets" -> "Scan to connect", and use your phone's camera to scan the QR code on your Keystone 3 Pro screen.Bitcast
  2. After scanning, select the coin you want to store, and the system will show "Connected successfully".

On Keystone Nexus

  1. Go to the home page and select the coin you want to receive.  
  2. Tap “Receive”. 
  3. The system will display your wallet's address and QR code. Provide the address or QR code to the sender.

How to Send

On Keystone Nexus

  1. Go to the home page and select the coin you want to send.  
  2. Tap “Send”. 
  3. Paste the recipient's address or scan their QR code, then tap Next.
  4. Enter the amount you want to send -> Tap Next -> Review the transaction -> Tap Next -> Keystone Nexus will generate a QR code for you to scan.

How to Sign the Transaction (Keystone 3 Pro)

 

  1. Tap the icon at the bottom right of the Keystone homepage and scan the QR code on Keystone Nexus -> Confirm transaction details -> Slide “Swipe to Confirm” > 
  2. Keystone will display a QR code, waiting to be scanned to confirm the transaction. 
  3. Go back to Keystone Nexus, tap Scan completed, and use your phone to scan the QR code to complete the transaction.

  • Keystone releasing its own software wallet will lead to better synchronization and security between the hardware wallet and the software wallet.
  • Transactions use an air-gapped method without needing to connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which enhances transaction security.
