OneKey App version 5.0 involves the removal of certain features to enhance app performance and improve existing functionalities.
Feature Adjustments
Networks and Assets
Monero (XMR)
- Support for Monero (XMR) network usage in the OneKey App's Software Wallet has been discontinued.
- Users will no longer be able to use a Hardware Wallet to send or receive Monero (XMR) within OneKey App v5. However, users can still use the Monero GUI client to connect to their OneKey hardware wallet for XMR transactions. Your assets on the network will not be affected.
Starcoin (STC)
- Support for Starcoin (STC) network usage in the OneKey App's Software Wallet has been discontinued.
- Users will temporarily not be able to use this network in the OneKey application, but your assets on the network will not be affected.
- Support will be reinstated once the Starcoin team completes the necessary fixes.
Ethereum Classic (ETC) Derivation Path
- The Ethereum Classic (ETC) derivation path m/44'/61'/0'/0/* has been removed.
Developer Networks and some Testnets
- Some developer networks and testnets have been removed from the OneKey application.
- Devnet and Testnet networks, such as Solana developer networks and outdated Ethereum testnets, will be removed, but your assets on the network will not be affected.
Bitcoin Ordinals Assets
- Support for Bitcoin Ordinals assets (BRC20 tokens and Ordinals NFTs) has been discontinued.
- Users will no longer be able to create, view, or send BRC-20 tokens and Ordinals NFTs on OneKey App v5. Your assets on the network will not be affected.
